Tools stolen from Boardman hotel construction site


BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a case in which more than $2,500 worth of tools were stolen from a Best Western construction site at 7400 Tiffany South.

According to a police report filed Saturday, three victims reported that numerous tools were stolen from inside the hotel, which is under construction.

Stolen items include saws, drills, extension cords, a radio, screw guns, routers and other miscellaneous tools.

The victims estimated the cost of the missing items to be $2,600, but said other items belonging to other victims had yet to be reported.

An officer handled another theft report on Friday from a contractor at the same job site, the report said.
