Police: Ohio man fatally shoots wife's boyfriend, self

MILFORD, Ohio (AP) — Police say a man fatally shot his estranged wife’s boyfriend and killed himself at a home in southwest Ohio’s Clermont County.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports the shooting occurred shortly before 6 a.m. today in Miami Township, roughly 15 miles east of Cincinnati.

Township police Assistant Chief Mike Mills says the woman and her children were home, possibly sleeping, when the murder-suicide occurred. He couldn’t say exactly how many children were there.

Mills says the woman had repeatedly contacted police while she and her husband were estranged and reported that he intended to harm himself.

Police didn’t immediately share the names of the men who died, the woman or her children.
