11 women, 2 men arrested in prostitution sting in Liberty

LIBERTY — Police arrested 11 women and two men in a prostitution sting in Belmont Avenue hotels.

Liberty Township Police Chief Rich Tisone said his department along with several other agencies conducted an Internet sting last week.

A 16-month-old child was taken at one scene by Children Services, he said.

Those charged will appear in Girard Municipal Court on Tuesday morning.

The FBI, Trumbull-Ashtabula-Geauga Drug Task Force, Hubbard city police, Youngstown Police and the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force participated in the sting.
