Garden Club of Ohio Inc., Youngstown District, will meet Oct. 14 at the Davis Center, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. Registration will be at 9:30 a.m., and the meeting will take place at 10. Mandy Smith, education manager of Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek, will present “Herbs and Essences” at 10:30. Lunch will be served at noon, and Shirley Griffin will present “Closets Full of Clothes — Nothing to Wear” at 1 p.m. The meeting will adjourn at 2. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers, due by Tuesday.
