Dinner party for Maioranas marks 64th

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Maiorana of Columbiana, formerly residents of Austintown for 57 years, were the guests of honor at a 64th anniversary dinner party Aug. 17 at the Links at Firestone Farms.

The couple’s family hosted the festivities.

Their children are Sam Maiorana III of Austintown, Catherine Grossi of Columbiana, Linda Bonish of Columbiana and Helen Milne of North Jackson.

They have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Maiorana and the former Helen Hammond were married Aug. 5, 1950, at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown.

They are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Austintown.
