Basistas renew vows for 50th anniversary

NEWTON FALLS

David and Patricia Basista of Newton Falls will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows Oct. 17 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home. Invitations will be issued.

Hosting the celebration are their children, Shirley Peacock of Newton Falls, David J. Basista Jr. of Southington and Sheila Lemmon of Newton Falls. The couple have seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Basista is a homemaker, and her husband retired from GM in Lordstown as an assembly line worker.

Mr. Basista and the former Patricia Musser were married Oct. 17, 1964, at St. Elizabeth Church in Campbell.

They are members of St. Joseph Church in Newton Falls.
