Historical society plans lectures

CANFIELD

The Canfield Historical Society will continue its lecture series at 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Bond House, 44 W. Main St.

Cynthia Anderson will discuss the history of the Butler Institute of American Art. A question and answer period and a social time and refreshments will follow.

The event is open to all ages and is free. No reservations are needed.

The next lecture in the series will be Nov. 13 with Laura Zeh, curator of the Canfield Historical Society, presenting “Select Pieces from the CHS Collection.”
