Ghost Tours set by historical group

The Salem Historical Society offers another round of Ghost Tours. Two types are available during the month of October. Below is a description and cost for each.

The Salem Ghost Walk takes people around the city, telling of Salem’s “haunted” past. The walk is held rain or shine and recommends the wearing of good walking shoes. The cost of the walk is $10. The dates are Saturday at 4 p.m. and October 17 scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Salem Ghost Trolley Tour takes people out of the downtown area to cemeteries and other “haunted” areas around Salem. There are three occasions that you do exit the trolley and walk around so wear good walking shoes. The cost of the trolley ride is $15. Dates for these tours on the Quakertown Trolley are 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Saturday and Oct. 18.
