Band to kick off fall fundraiser

The Fall Fundraiser for the Poland Band kicks off Saturday and runs through Nov. 4.

They are selling citrus from the heart of Florida and fruit gift boxes from Pee Jays Fresh Fruit Company.

They also will be selling cheesecakes, which have become one of the band’s top selling items.

The event is a pre-paid sale. For information contact a Poland Band member or call 330-757-1713.

This is an opportunity for students to earn credit for the students band account, which can be used for related band expenses or to pay for the students’ travel on band trips or excursions.

The band has been invited to play at the 2015 BCS Bowl game on News Years Eve.
