Authorities arrested the suspect in a Tuesday morning shooting at a Shady Run Road home.
Police said Paul Kerr was arrested in Pennsylvania.
Police were called to the 2709 Shady Run Road home about 8:10 a.m. Tuesday where a woman met them in the front yard and said her husband, 49-year-old Lenzie Morgan, was shot in the head.
Police found Morgan inside on a chair, bleeding from his head. At first, he was able to speak, but then fell over and was treated by paramedics, who took him to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he is in critical condition.
The woman said a man who was staying with them, Kerr, 48, and Morgan were arguing over her before he shot Morgan.
Reports said Kerr ran out the back door.
A nearby Summit Academy school was locked down for part of the morning as police were on the scene.
Chief of Detectives Capt. Brad Blackburn said Kerr’s last known address was in Struthers, but they think he is homeless and he was staying with Morgan and his wife when the shooting happened.
