Milton Township police officer injured tonight

MILTON TOWNSHIP

A Milton Township police officer was injured in an accident at about 8:15 p.m. on Newton Falls Road north of Mahoning Avenue, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch.

A dispatcher said the officer is in stable condition, and is at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

There was no word on the cause of the accident or if other vehicles were involved.
