Campbell police charge man with drug offenses after traffic stop

CAMPBELL

City police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown man on drug charges Tuesday evening during a traffic stop.

Rondele E. Irving of East Florida Avenue faces charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, along with a citation for not having a valid driver's license.

Police stopped Irving shortly after 7 p.m. for failing to yield to a stop sign, then discovered his lack of a valid driver's license. Irving admitted to having marijuana - which turned out to be 6.4 grams - in the center console of his car. Police also seized $174 in cash as evidence.
