BOARDMAN

The Davis Family YMCA’s annual student art show opens Monday and runs through Dec. 21 at the facility at 45 McClurg Road.

Students who learned or honed their skills at the YMCA during 2014 were invited to participate. The show features 60 pieces of art by more than 30 students. While many of the artists are beginners, others have become so accomplished that their work has been accepted into the area’s top art shows.

An opening reception, free to the public, will be Dec. 7 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
