Food & Wine Fest
EPCOT’s 19th annual International Food & Wine Festival included concerts, seminars and foods from 22 nations and Patagonia, which is shared by two South American countries, as well as 13 other food spots. Some highlights:
Patagonia: Roasted salmon, quinoa salad, arugula.
New Zealand: Lamb meatball, spicy tomato chutney.
Australia: Pavlova—crisp meringue, berries, vanilla custard.
Mexico: Shrimp taco, sweet corn cheesecake.
Africa: South African bobotie with turkey, mushrooms.
Singapore: Lemongrsss chicken curry with coconut, rice.
Germany: Schinkennudeln pasta gratin with ham.
America: Apple maple spice latte, cinnamon whipped cream.
Japan: Steamed bun filled with chicken, vegetables, sweet teriyaki.
Morocco: Spicy shrimp roll with cilantro, mint sauce.
Belgium: Potato and leek waffle with beer-braised beef.
Brazil: Tilapia, coconut lime sauce, rice; coconut candy.
France: Escargot tart with spinach, bacon, Parmesan; creme brulee.
Puerto Rico: Caribbean conch salad.
