Chorus to present Handel’s ‘Messiah’
NEW CASTLE, PA.
The New Castle Music Club Chorus will present its 74th annual presentation of Handel’s “Messiah” at 3 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church, 135 Decker Drive. Kathryn Miller, organist at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Boardman and an adjunct faculty member at Youngstown State University, will accompany the performance. Trumpet soloist will be Andrew Erb. Other performers include Judy Maher, pianist; Joanne McFarland, soprano; Lisa Duckworth, alto; Seth Gruber, tenor; Zachary Luchetti, bass; and Sharon Perschke, flautist. An offering will be taken.
