UPDATE: Coroner identifies 2 killed in Youngstown crash
YOUNGSTOWN
The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified two men who were killed in an accident early Thursday morning on the East Side.
The release said 51-year-old David Kent Williams and 52-year-old Keith Rogers, both of Youngstown, were killed after a car they were riding in collided with a semi about 1:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Lansdowne Boulevard.
The driver has not yet been identified. He is being treated for burns at the burn unit at Akron Children’s Hospital. Family members helped identify the bodies, the release said.
None of the people in the car were wearing seat belts, but the car caught on fire after the collision. The semi fled.
