Valentine vows for Miss Schutz, Mr. McDonald

Ron and Beth Schutz of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Vanessa Schutz, and Neal McDonald, both of Washington, D.C.

He is the son of Neal and Janet McDonald of Auburndale, Fla.

The couple are planning a Valentine’s Day ceremony Feb. 14, 2015, at 6 p.m. at The Whittemore House in Washington, where a reception will immediately follow. Invitations will be extended.

The bride-elect graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a degree in English and journalism. She is an account executive for Washingtonian Magazine in Washington.

The prospective groom graduated from Florida State University with a degree in political science. He is a senior media buyer for Multi Media Services in Alexandria, Va.
