Pizza delivery person robbed in Liberty

A pizza delivery person reported an armed robbery to police Tuesday night.

The victim told police he was driving west on Applegate Road near the intersection of Youngstown-Hubbard Road at 9:05 p.m. when a man came out of the woods on the north side of the woods at his car with a handgun.

Police tried to track the robber with their dog but could not find him, a report says. The robber is described as white, 6'2", stocky and in his 30s, the report says.
