Jets 4, Blue Jackets 2

COLUMBUS

Evander Kane scored two power-play goals, as the Jets held on to beat the Blue Jackets. Bryan Little and Andrew Ladd both had a goal and an assist, and Blake Wheeler and Jacob Trouba added two assists apiece for Winnipeg, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Rookie goalie Michael Hutchinson made 32 saves to improve to 4-1-1. Jordan Leopold and Ryan Johansen scored for the banged-up Blue Jackets, who are on a franchise-record pace for games lost to injuries. Columbus, which entered tied for the fewest points in the NHL, have lost four in a row and 13 of 15.

Predators 4, Kings 3, SO

NASHVILLE, TENN.

James Neal scored the only goal of a six-round shootout to lead the Predators. Craig Smith, Ryan Ellis and Eric Nystrom scored in regulation for Nashville, winners of four of five. In the shootout, Neal beat Martin Jones with a wrist shot between the pads. Pekka Rinne made 18 saves in regulation and overtime, and then all six Kings shooters in the tiebreaker. Jamie McBain, Marian Gaborik, and Drew Doughty scored for Los Angeles, which has lost two straight. Trailing by a goal late in the second, Nashville took the lead after Ellis and Nystrom scored 52 seconds apart.

Senators 3, Blues 2, SO

ST. LOUIS

Erik Condra and Alex Chiasson scored third-period goals for the Senators, who rallied to tie it and then beat the St. Louis Blues in a shootout. The Senators, who had lost two straight, three of four and six of eight, trailed by two goals. They were beaten at home by the Blues on Saturday. The Blues, who lost No. 1 goalie Brian Elliott to a lower-body injury late in the second period, had won two straight and five of seven. They entered having allowed an NHL-best 2.0 goals per game.

DALLAS

Tyler Seguin scored two goals to give him an NHL-leading 17, and rookie defenseman John Klingberg added a goal from center ice and an assist to lead the Stars. Dallas won its third straight for the first time this season in the fourth game of a season-high, five-game homestand. Edmonton, last in the Western Conference, is 0-6-1 in its last seven games. The Oilers haven’t led since a win over the New York Rangers on Nov. 9.
