Background: Tapestries of Ohio Inc. is an 11-member ensemble that sings songs from the 15th to 17th centuries, wears period costumes and plays appropriate period musical instruments. Members, who are from the Mahoning Valley, present educational and entertaining programs.

Performances: Madrigal dinner performances are scheduled at 7 p.m. Dec. 5, which is almost sold out, and Dec. 6 and 12 and 13 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic Ave. NE, Warren. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets postmarked by today are $30 per person or $220 for table of eight and after today, $35 per person and $260 for table of eight.

Members: Sopranos are Sarah Gustwiller, Marsha Wilson and Jean McFarren; altos are Sarah Vodrey, Michelle Robbins and Debra Nuhfer; tenors are Ron Wolford and Mike Newman; and basses are Mark Keriotis, Ken Martin and Dean Wennerstrom. Musical director is Beverley Kiefer.
