TaShawn Walker murder trial postponed

WARREN

A murder trial planned for Dec. 8 in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court for TaShawn Walker, 27, of Baytown, Texas, has been rescheduled for March 9.

Walker and his attorney, Lynn Maro, were in court Monday and approved a waiver of the court’s requirement to hold his trial within a constitutionally required amount of time.

Walker is accused of killing Richard Rollison IV, 24, of Niles, by shooting him 7 times in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station on West Market Street Oct. 26, 2013.

That killing was exactly one week after Walker’s brother, Taemarr Walker, 24, of Warren, was killed in a confrontation with a Warren police officer.
