Cruze wins fleet award

The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze has been named the 2014 fleet car of the year by Automotive Fleet and Business Fleet magazines.

The Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze beat 48 other cars to take the title. Managers of both large and small fleets selected the Cruze as the winner. This is the first time the Cruze has won the annual award.

Total fleet sales of Cruze were up 41 percent in 2014 through October. The Cruze is Chevrolet’s best-selling car in the world. More than 3 million have been sold globally since its launch in 2009.

The 2015 Cruze, which started to hit the local dealerships in October, comes with a facelift and OnStar 4G LTE with a standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
