Campbell police investigating theft at residence

CAMPBELL

A Penhale Avenue resident reported about $1,000 worth of cash and jewelry had been stolen from his residence between last Wednesday and Friday. The resident returned home from a trip to find $200 in quarters, $200 cash, a $25 gift card, three gold rings and two gold chains missing from his bedroom.

The victim said he suspects it was someone he knows since there were no signs of breaking and entering.

Police said they would further investigate the robbery.
