“Jay Leno: THE MARK TWAIN PRIZE” (8 P.M., PBS): The former “Tonight Show” host resurfaces to become the 17th recipient of the prestigious award for American humor. He’s honored by, among others, Garth Brooks, Seth Meyers and Jerry Seinfeld.

“The Christmas Shepherd” (8 p.m., Hallmark): If this were about his fabulous pie, it could be on the Cooking Channel.

Art exhibition by Maple Turner III

Youngstown

McKelvey Gallery will present an art exhibition by Maple Turner III that will include a thousand pieces of art, all available for purchase.

The exhibition will be in the McKelvey Gallery spaces in the Knox Building, 10 W. Federal St., and the Nove Gatto Gallery, in the Erie Terminal Building, West Commerce at North Phelps Street, both downtown.

An opening reception will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 at Nove Gatto. A dedication and remarks from the artist and curator will be at 7 p.m. The exhibit runs through Dec. 20.

Tickets to the reception and tours are $10 and are available at Youngstown Nation on North Phelps Street, and also at the door.

Turner, a Youngstown native, has studied and worked in Paris and New York, where he currently resides. He works in various media, including sculpture, painting, ceramics and textiles, and creates art with watercolor, acrylic, oil, sand and reused materials.
