Police on scene of shooting

YOUNGSTOWN

Police are on the scene of a shooting in the 700 block of Lexington Avenue on the North Side.

Officers were called about 9:50 p.m. for reports of a man shot in a van in a driveway.

The driver’s-side window of the van has been shattered.

Should the death be ruled a homicide, it would be the 18th in the city this year and fourth within a week.

Homicide detectives and a coroner’s investigator are at the scene.
