New Castle man arraigned today in Youngstown woman's death

NEW CASTLE, Pa.

A New Castle man was arraigned today in the death of a Youngstown woman.

Robert D. Johns, 40, was arrested and charged after Neshannock Township Police found the body of Amanda Seman, 26, at a New Castle residence, Friday according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Police said the suspect and victim knew each other and Seman was shot in the head after a confrontation with Johns.

They found Seman’s body after her mother reported she had not been in contact with her daughter since Nov. 18 and asked police to check the Falls Avenue residence.

Seman’s body was found in an upstairs bedroom. Johns also was found at the residence.
