CLEVELAND
Jennifer Brooke Faierson and Dr. Paul Peter Harkey were united in marriage Aug. 30 in a 2 p.m. ceremony at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist officiated by Deacon John Sferry.
She is the daughter of Kathleen Janus of Branson, Mo., and the late Bruce Faierson and stepdaughter of Tom Janus of Branson. He is the son of Paul and Florence Harkey of Canfield.
A reception took place at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple live in Atlanta.
The bride wore a strapless white satin trumpet gown with a cathedral train. The gown was embroidered by hand and embellished with pearls and Swarovski crystals. She wore a two-tier elbow-length veil outlined with Swarovski crystals.
Honor attendants were Michelle O’Rourke and Kristin Gobberg, cousins of the bride. Bridesmaids were Saundra Anderson, Susannah Morgan and Cissy Bates. Attendants wore cherry-colored dresses.
The groom’s cousin, Millie Bauer, was flower girl.
Best man was Dr. Gregory Harkey, his brother, and groomsmen were Dr. Eric Faierson, the bride’s brother, and Drs. Andy Deak, Mohit Srivastava, Theo Doukides and Phillip Habib.
Gage Osborne, the bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.
The bride graduated cum laude from Mercer University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. She earned a master’s degree in finance from Georgia State University and works as an associate for Goldman Sachs in Atlanta.
The groom graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University’s honors program with a bachelor’s degree in combined chemistry. He earned a medical doctorate from Northeast Ohio Medical University. The groom completed a residency in training at Metrohealth Medical Center at Case Western Reserve University and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. He is a musculoskeletal radiologist at Emory University in Atlanta.
