YSU has Crash Day student recruiting event today

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown State University is having Crash Day, its main recruitment event of the year, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

Prospective students and parents have the opportunity to tour the campus and meet with representatives from the university’s six academic colleges, student service areas and YSU President Jim Tressel.

There were 1,261 students pre-registered to attend the event, said Gary Swegan, associate vice president for enrollment planning and management.

“It will be the largest Crash Day ever,” he said.
