Youngstown woman charged with robbery from Kmart


BOARDMAN — Township police arrested a Youngstown woman on a robbery charge Thursday after police said she injured store employees while attempting to steal merchandise from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road. 

According to a police report, Tanicqwa Wilkerson, 23, entered the store three times Thursday and attempted to steal at least $250 worth of merchandise. 

When store employees confronted her, Wilkerson reportedly shoved one employee and bit the hand of another employee. 

Police arrested Wilkerson on a felony count of robbery. She is free on bond, pending an appearance Tuesday in Mahoning County Area Court.
