On Sept. 26, Dobbins Elementary School had its second annual pumpkin walk, spending two hours at Countryside Farm.

The pumpkin walk was sponsored by the school’s PTO and lasted from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Families were invited to carve pumpkins and deliver them to Dobbins on Sept. 26. Those pumpkins were then delivered to Countryside Farm, lit and put on display.

Prizes were awarded for the “best pumpkins.”

Students and their families were able to enjoy the nice weather by playing outside, strolling past the pumpkins and participating in a hayride.

Doughnuts and cider were also available and the students were able to take advantage of Countryside Farm’s corn maze if they so wished.

A good time was had by all, said Dobbins staff member Lois Dunnavant.
