NFL to relocate Bills home game against the Jets

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A league spokesman says a severe lake-effect snowstorm hitting Buffalo has led the NFL to relocate the Bills home game against the New York Jets on Sunday.

Michael Signora said today that the NFL has yet to determine where the game will be played. The decision comes as the region — including the team's home in Orchard Park — has been blanketed by more than 5 feet of snow since Monday. Snow continued to fall on today, with projected accumulations ranging between 1 and 3 feet.

Earlier in the day, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said it would be impractical for the game to be played on schedule.

The snow has affected the Bills preparations after the team canceled practice for a second straight day.
