Western, Pa. student crushed by falling car

INDIANA, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania college student was crushed by a car that fell onto him when a jack failed.

The 19-year-old Indiana University of Pennsylvania student was airlifted Tuesday to a Pittsburgh hospital with unspecified injuries.

Police did not identify the student.

They say he was injured while repairing the vehicle in a parking lot near his home a few blocks from campus.
