Vindy Radio will be live from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 20, with host Louie Free. Along with his regular programming, Louie will welcome a special guest at 11 a.m.

Donna James, a daughter of the late Vivian Martin, will visit Vindy Radio to discuss a scholarship that has been established in Martin's name.

Vivian Martin was a cancer survivor, real estate agent and owner of Essence Realty. Martin was slain on Sept. 20, 2010 by Grant Cooper and Robert Brooks. Cooper and Brooks were sentenced in October for their crime, ending the family's long wait for justice.

A local realty association will be hosting a benefit on Nov. 29 to raise money for the Martin scholarship fund. James will share information.
