Youngstown Christmas tree set to arrive Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN — The city of Youngstown’s 2014 Christmas tree has been chosen. The blue spruce is being donated by Craig Tareshawty, owner of Brandywine Apartments, 3390 Flo Lo Drive.

Diamond Steel Construction Co. will donate its time and equipment to assist the city’s Department of Parks & Recreation staff in removing and transporting the tree to Central Square downtown.

The tree is scheduled to arrive at approximately 11 a.m. Thursday.
