Campbell cops say man caught trying to steal copper

CAMPBELL

Police arrested Kitwani Hollamon, 32, of Campbell on felony charges of burglary at 4:30 a.m. today for attempting to steal copper from an abandoned home on Hamrock Drive. A neighbor called about the incident. Police arrived and found Hollamon at the scene. He had broke in the residence using a brick to break a basement window, a police report said.

Hollamon was transported to the Campbell police department. He also has a warrant in Kentucky. He will be arraigned in Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
