Boardman man faces menacing, domestic-violence charges

BOARDMAN — A township man is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Mahoning County Area Court here on charges of aggravated menacing and making domestic-violence threats after police said he threatened his soon-to-be ex-wife with a gun.

According to a police report, Philip DeRobbio, 35, of Melrose Avenue, pointed a handgun at the victim after they got into an argument Friday about their pending divorce.

The victim ran away from DeRobbio.

DeRobbio is free on bond.
