Accounting seminars planned at A La Cart

CANFIELD

The Mahoning Valley Accounting Society is presenting two seminars on Thursday and Friday at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St.

Registration for an auditing and accounting update begins at 8 a.m. Thursday, and the seminar will be from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. with speaker Dr. Peter Woodlock, CPA, of Youngstown State University.

A seminar on tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses and their owners will have registration at 8 a.m. Friday, and the seminar will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The cost for each seminar is $139 for members or $169 for nonmembers and includes lunch. Seminar profits fund accounting scholarships at YSU and Kent State University.
