AARP 4339 will have its Christmas party at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Manor Restaurant, at the corner of Kirk Road and Route 46. The wrong date was included in a previous notice. Call Pat Miller for tickets at 330-799-2635. The deadline is Dec. 1.

AARP 4611 East will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. The executive board will meet at 11 a.m., and lunch will follow at noon. Members should take a covered dish and nonperishables for a food basket. The cost is $6. Plans will be made for a Christmas luncheon and gift exchange, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Dollar Bank Retirees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman. Reservations will be taken for the Christmas party, which will be Dec. 3 at Boardman Holiday Inn. Holy Family Seniors Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Hostesses are JoAnn Smith and Ruth Fabek. After lunch, members will enjoy bingo and cards. Members are reminded that reservations and $13 for the Christmas luncheon will be collected at this meeting. Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Plans will be made for the Christmas luncheon. Doughnuts and coffee will be served. New members are welcome.

Liberty 55-Plus Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday for its annual catered Thanksgiving luncheon at First Christian Assembly Church, Cardinal Drive, Liberty. The meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the meal will be at 1. Kay Herberger will preside, and hostesses are Rosemary Sferra and Louise Leone. Cards will be played, and November birthdays will be acknowledged.

OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Friendly’s on Route 224 in Poland. All OBES Retirees are welcome.

Public Employee Retirees Inc., Mahoning Chapter 18, will meet at noon Dec. 2 for the annual Christmas luncheon at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman. On the buffet menu will be ham with pineapple, au gratin potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, salad, coffee, tea, rolls and butter, and red velvet cake. There will be a money raffle that will include two free Georgetown Grab & Go certificates. Also, poinsettias will be raffled. The cost is $12 for members, associate members and guests, payable at the door. Retired Nurses Interest Group will meet at 1 p.m. Nov. 25 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4565 Canfield Road, Canfield. Guest speaker will be Cindi Nesper, whose topic will be “Melnick’s Medical Suitcase.” Refreshments will follow the meeting. Members are asked to send reservations for the Christmas dinner by Dec. 2 to Lee Kovlan. All area retired nurses are welcome.

St. Christine Seniors November meeting has been canceled. There will be a Christmas party at 12:45 p.m. Dec. 17 at the parish center with a luncheon buffet at 1. The party will feature door prizes and a 50-50 raffle and will be followed by bingo and cards.
