Saxon Club party honors McIntyres’ 50th

CANFIELD

Bob and Marilyn McIntyre of Canfield marked their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 1 with family and friends at the Youngstown Saxon Club.

The couple were married Oct. 31, 1954, at Reedemer Lutheran Church.

Hosting the festivities were their son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Melanie McIntyre, and grandsons Brock and Colin McIntyre.

Mrs. McIntyre, the former Marilyn Donaldson, worked at Packard Electric in Warren for eight years and most recently was a bus driver for the Canfield Board of Education, where she retired with 15 years of service.

Mr. McIntyre worked at Youngstown Steel Door for nine years and later at the Tamarkin Co., where he retired with 33 years of service. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
