merger/acquisitions

Business manufacturing and technology leader Brad Fedorchak was named to a project manager role in the mergers and acquisitions technology center of the Dow Chemical Co. In this role, Fedorchak will support mergers and acquisitions negotiations, work closely with the business and corporate merger and acquisition teams; lead due-diligence efforts and the implementation planning and execution process. He will work with all Dow functions, businesses and geographies involved in the transactions to create and execute the necessary plans, and will also serve as the external party focal point for managing and coordinating the due diligence and implementation interactions with the counter parties and other third parties such as outside legal, investment banks, functional consultants and others.

Fedorchak will serve in the role full time effective Dec. 1, 2014. Fedorchak earned a bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering from Youngstown State University in 1984 after graduating from Canfield High School in 1980.

LUMBER

Privately owned Gordon Lumber Co. selected Erin Leonard to become the company’s new president effective Nov. 1, 2014. The Ohio-based company employs 132 people in nine locations and was founded in 1868. Leonard, who started with Gordon Lumber in 2011 and most recently served as chief operating officer for the company, was chosen to fill the role of president after an extensive nationwide search.

Wollam Chevrolet employees completed a CPR/AED re-certification class sponsored by Wollam Chevrolet. James Lambert, Roger Leigh, Michael George, Michael Yaratch and Andrew Fincham successfully renewed their Emergency First Response CPR/AED certifications.

Consumers National Bank announced that the board of directors approved the promotions of Barbara Cronin, senior auditor, and Debbie Miller, commercial account specialist, to the level of vice president.
