Fast and Furriest raises $2,000

SALEM

The second annual Fast and the Furriest 5K Run/Walk and Dog Dash raised more than $2,000 for the Humane Society of Columbiana County adoption center at 1825 S. Lincoln Ave.

The event took place Nov. 8 at Waterworth Park in Salem. More than 150 participated.

Female overall winners were, Taylor Smith, first place; Becky Iocobucci, second; and Nichole Graham, third.

Male overall winners were Doug Votaw, first; Drew Sapp, second; and Mike Smith, third.
