Pasta dinner, raffle to benefit ill woman

GIRARD

A benefit pasta dinner and basket raffle will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 22 at First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road.

The dinner will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, beverage and desert. Tickets are $10. Carryout dinners also are available. Reservations are requested and may be made by calling 330-647-7515 or 330-505-1192.

Proceeds from the dinner will be used to help Diana Johnson with significant medical expenses not covered by her insurance. Johnson was diagnosed 12 years ago with combined variable immune deficiency as well as factor five protein C deficiency. She must receive expensive monthly treatments.
