Liberty police charge 17-year-old in armed robbery

Police arrested a 17-year-old boy and charged him in connection with an armed robbery at the Shell gas station on Logan Way at Churchill Road Tuesday.

Police responded to a panic alarm at the store at 10:40 a.m.

Surveillance video showed the suspect running toward apartments at 1465 Townsend, the police report says.

Police arrested Pierre Romello Pardue in an apartment there, where they also found a semiautomatic pistol and a loaded magazine.

He was taken to Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center.
