5K race planned in Firestone Park

COLUMBIANA

The second ’Twas the Night Before 5K will take place at 6 p.m. Dec. 17 in Firestone Park, 347 E. Park Ave.

The race runs through the Joy of Christmas light show in the park, and race participants will get to drive through it free of charge after the race.

Registration is open. Participants can either register online at active.com or by printing out an application from www.SandBFoundation.org. Early race packet pickup will be from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 14 at Second Sole in Boardman.

Runners and walkers can sign up that day or the day of the race beginning at 4 p.m. at Pavilion No. 1 in the park.

Proceeds will go to the Columbiana Clipper Cross Country and Track and Field Teams.
