Man gets life in prison for Ohio teen's slaying

LEBANON, Ohio (AP) — A man who pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and other charges in the slaying of a southwest Ohio teen has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Warren County’s prosecutor says 20-year-old Timothy Mosley of Dayton was sentenced today in Lebanon in the January slaying of 18-year-old Justin Back.

Mosley pleaded guilty earlier in an agreement with prosecutors. Prosecutor David Fornshell said his office agreed to remove death penalty specifications in return for the plea and Mosley’s testimony against co-defendant Austin Myers.

Last month, a jury convicted the 19-year-old Myers of aggravated murder and other charges. He received a death sentence.

Authorities said Back was strangled and stabbed in a burglary at his home near Waynesville. His body was dumped in Preble County, north of Dayton.
