“Ice Wars: USA SLED HOCKEY” (10 P.M., PBS): This compelling new documentary looks at the U.S. sled hockey team as it prepares for the Paralympic Games in Sochi, Russia. The superfast, rugged sport has been called “Murderball on blades.”
“Castle” (10 p.m., ABC): The series officially jumps the shark as the titular character crosses into an alternate dimension. Guess we’re out of good stories in this one.

Cleveland Orchestra celebrates Maazel
CLEVELAND
The Cleveland Orchestra has released “Lorin Maazel — The Cleveland Years, Complete Recordings,” a commemorative CD set.
Maazel, music director of the Cleveland Orchestra from 1972 to 1982, died earlier this year. During his years in Cleveland, a series of recordings were made for Decca — all of which are collected on this CD set for the first time.
The repertory includes a number of orchestral spectaculars and Decca’s first recording in Cleveland, Prokofiev’s “Romeo and Juliet.” The CD set is available at the Cleveland Orchestra gift shop in Severance Hall and via online retailers.
