Grief program set for children, teens

YOUNGSTOWN

Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes are sponsoring Holiday Hope for Children/Teens to help them cope with the loss of a loved one.

The program will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road. To register call 330-792-2353.

Children and teens from 6 to 13 are invited. They will learn practical ideas to deal with their emotions in their time of loss.

They also will create an ornament in the loved one’s memory, share stories with others in their age group, decorate cookies to take home and more.
