Country music star Brad Paisley will come to Covelli Centre on Feb. 6.
Tickets for the show, which includes opening acts Parmalee and the Swon Brothers, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the box office and all Ticketmaster outlets.
The concert is just the latest by a top country music performer at Covelli. The list of acts that have played the downtown arena already includes Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, the Band Perry, Rascal Flatts and Miranda Lambert.
“It’s no secret in the industry now that Youngstown loves country, so it makes our building a viable stop on many tours,” said Kelsey Rupert, director of marketing for Covelli. “Brad Paisley is one of country’s biggest stars and a highly decorated entertainer with multiple CMAs and Grammys, so we are so fortunate to have him at the Covelli Centre.”
In his long career, Paisley has earned three Grammys, two American Music Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards.
A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001, Paisley earned the first of his 22 No. 1 singles in 1999, writing or co-writing 19 of them.
His latest single, “Perfect Storm,” is from his chart-topping 2014 album “Moonshine in the Trunk.”
He recently concluded a summer-long headlining tour and will mount a fall tour in smaller markets.
