Benefit dinner set for Hunter Shaffer

NEW SPRINGFIELD

A benefit spaghetti dinner for Hunter Shaffer and his family will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Nov. 23 at New Springfield Church of God, 3649 E. Garfield Road. The prices are $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Advance tickets can be bought by calling 330-482-9308 or 330-482-3501.

The event will include a basket auction, 50-50 raffle, pictures with Santa and Paparazzi jewelry.

The family moved to Colorado in January for Hunter to obtain treatment for his epilepsy. Now, the treatment can be shipped to Ohio, so the family wants to come home.

The proceeds will go toward moving expenses and to continue treatment in Ohio.
