‘Fire Choir’ to sing
GIRARD
The “Refined By Fire Choir” of Ohio Valley Teen Challenge will lead worship at 11 a.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, with music, drama and skits and testimonies.
Teen Challenge is a faith-based program for all ages that offers treatment and hope for those caught up in the drug epidemic.

Jesus “The Key” Ministry is sponsoring a trip, and the proceeds send inner-city children to camp.
The Dec. 9 and 10 trip to Lancaster, Pa., will include three shows, “Moses” at the Sight & Sound Theatre, “Joy to the World” at American Music Theatre and “It’s a Wonderful Life” at Dutch Apple Dinner Show.

Men’s prayer rally

Men’s Rally in the Valley will gather from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 at Highway Tabernacle Church, 3000 S. Raccoon Road, for a “Christ Awakening” prayer rally led by Rodney Maiden, pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Cleveland, and David Bryant, president of Proclaim Hope!, New Providence, N.J.
The group also will meet at 8 a.m. Nov. 15 at Das Dutch Haus with speaker Doug Gough and music by Jack Sweet.
The Salvation Army of Salem will have a truck on location to collect donations of winter coats, hats and gloves.
St. John Chrysostom

The Society of St. John Chrysostom, Youngstown Warren Chapter, will present “St. John Chrysostom and the Maronites” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Maron Maronite Church, 1555 S. Meridian Road.
Speaker will be Chorbishop Michael Kail of the host church.
The Society of St. John Chrysostom is an ecumenical organization of Catholic and Orthodox clergy and laity, working to make known the history, worship, spirituality, discipline and theology of eastern Christendom.
